SACSS Care Fund -

SACSS Care Fund provides short to medium term additional financial aid to students in
SACSS who are under the school's financial assistance scheme.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Beneficiaries of the school financial assistance scheme, including Ministry of
Education (MOE) Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS), non-MOE FAS or Saint
Magdalene-MILK Bursary (MILK) and other similar financial assistance schemes that
SACSS has in place with external organisations.
• Open to Singapore Citizen, Permanent Residents and International Students who
meets the eligibility criteria
Grace Chew Compassion Fund -

Applicant must be a current student of St Anthony's Canossian Secondary School.
Open to all Singaporeans, Singapore PRs and International Students.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Application is open to Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents and International
Students who :
a. are facing immediate hardship from an emergency, accident, or other unexpected
critical incident, resulting in family loss of income;
b. require financial assistance to pay for expenses which are unexpected,
unforeseen, urgent, and unavoidable;
c. have completed application in full, subject to review and assessment by panel;
and
d. meets the eligibility criteria which include:
i. Family must face a loss of income due to a crisis;
ii. Family must have school going children;
iii. Family must have limited financial resources to cope with crisis; and
iv. Meets the minimum of 80% school attendance by the student
Thio Ying Ying Bursary Award -

Thio Ying Ying Bursary Award is an award to dignify and encourage active volunteerism
in students from low-income families.
Through this award, the school hopes to instill a sense of gratitude in our students, to
inspire them to be gracious, and to strive for greater achievements benefiting
themselves and the community.
Applicant must be a current student of St Anthony's Canossian Secondary School.
Objectives
1. To provide financial assistance to students from low income families (regardless of
nationalities) so as to encourage them to live out the school’s mission statement to
serve others;
2. To nurture youth leaders who can adopt an entrepreneurial and innovation-focused
approach to community issues through training and mentoring to give back to the
community; and
3. To complement the role and function of the Ministry of Education (MOE) and available
community financial assistance scheme for needy students.
