ABOUT The St Anthony’s Canossian Secondary School (SACSS) Concert Band began in the early 1970s as a military band and became a concert band in 1993, expanding its repertoire and performance opportunities. Today, it is a vibrant family of over 60 musicians united by the motto “Andare Avanti”— to keep moving forward. Under the guidance of conductors Mr Laurel Ho and Ms Yap Fang Yi, the band pursues musical excellence while fostering teamwork, discipline, and friendship. Beyond accolades at events such as the Singapore Youth Festival, the band treasures shared memories, growth, and the joy of making music together, uplifting others through their performances. | |
